Dr. Michael Leong is a dedicated general dentist with over 22 years of experience in the dental field. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Credit from Otago, Dr. Leong has continued to expand his expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Orthodontics and a Miami Fellowship in Implants.

With a focus on general dentistry, he takes great pride in his work, always ensuring that patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their dental journey. His motto, “No dodgy dentistry,” reflects his commitment to providing high-quality care, while his passion for creating beautiful smiles shines through in everything he does.

Dr. Leong’s approach to patient care is all about honesty and transparency. He takes the time to listen, provide clear explanations, and offer a range of treatment options so patients can make informed decisions about their dental health. His easy-going nature and sense of humour help patients feel at ease—expect a dad joke or two during your visit!

Outside of the dental chair, Dr. Leong enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing pool, practicing karate, and hitting the slopes for some snowboarding. He also enjoys traveling and can often be found pursuing new adventures. At home, he’s accompanied by his beloved cat, Tilley, a mix between a burman and ragdoll.

Known for his bad dad jokes, Dr. Leong’s sense of humor is just one of the many things his patients love about him. He’s a well-rounded individual, balancing his passion for dentistry with hobbies that keep him active and engaged.
